It has five phases that I will briefly describe. The first phase is the interphase. The chromosomes are called the sister chromatids and are identical. The two cells condense for them to be separated in a process known as the prophase. In the metaphase stage, the chromosomes are aligned perpendicular to the spindle. In the anaphase stage, the chromosomes are pulled away from the metaphase plate to the spindle poles of the cell. Finally, in the telophase, the cells divide and the nuclear envelop reforms and the chromosomes decondense.

The component of the cell is another idea that you may consider describing when writing essay on cell biology. Some of the components of the cell are plasma cell membrane, endoplasmic reticulum, nucleus, ribosome, lysosome, mitochondria, and the golgi apparatus. The cell membrane protects the cell and filters any harmful things to the cell. The nucleus is found in the center of the cell and is responsible for protein synthesis.
